and Miss MHB pageant has come and gone!

Miss MHB Pageant is a huge tradition at Mary-Hardin Baylor. It's something that stretches the girls and gives them an opportunity of a lifetime. I got the opportunity to work with lights, spot lights to be exact! I got to get a glimpse of how much this time changes the girls lives. It changes their perspective on a lot of things, and gives them a huge group of sisters (22 to be exact) that they will have an unexplainable relationship with for the rest of their lives, basically. It was so sweet to watch this unfold over the past two months. I live with two contestants and I got to see the chaos behind it, the pressure, the emotions and then the bittersweet realization that this realization has come and gone. Here are some pictures of the festivities, but I don't have any of the contestants on crowning night. Angie does, and I will show those off soon :)

These are my two roommates on the night of the banquet!
Banquet is the night before pageant where they just celebrate!
SO PRETTY, HUH?

These are my two roommates and three of my slants (girls downstairs.)
What are they doing with their hands? THE SLANT SIGN.
I love them all, and they are so pretty and special to me!

This is Esther. We were the spotlights - booYAH.

Jake also worked pageant. He helped with lights.
He's some kind of wonderful. :)

Welp, there was a few pageant festivities pictures! I will hopefully be able to post and show you pretty crowning night pictures of my roommates and friends!!

Love.
Miss you Mamoo.
